Please excuse the mess ....

OK, I know that I have neglected this blog since I ended my last 12 week cycle or challenge. I'm continuing my search for Sandow; however, this blog will become my online training log from now on. Give me a week or so, and I'll have my new routines (mainly bodyweight and sandbag complexes) that I'm torturing myself with now. :)

Keep working hard and stay focused ....

Hey, I know you've had great success with body-weight resistance but I guarantee there will come a point where you'll NEED to use weights if you want to continue to see results. Your body can only provide so much resistance, even with gymnastics rings etc.

You used the picture of a gymnast to show the type of body you want, but you're really just making excuses for holding yourself back. If you want to put on any kind of muscle mass (which you seem to in your Sandow measurements post) you have to move beyond the girly kettebells and sandbags into barbell territory. Using these "USA" machines and such, you are only impeding your own progress. But hey, it's your time and money. Keep telling yourself it's a good investment while real bodybuilders and sensible men everywhere are far surpassing your gains in the weight room.

Anyway, if you decide to listen, check out http://www.exrx.net/Lists/Directory.html for tips. Best of luck.

Dave, I'm sorry that I'm just now answering your comment, but I've been working on updating my main and training blog.

Anyway, you have a right to your opinion and such, but I'll say this to you. Send me a video showing you doing handstand push-ups on gymnasts rings . . . no . . . I won't make it that difficult. Give me 10 free-standing hand-stand pushups (i.e., not against the wall) on video, then I'll consider taking your advice.

Thanks for stopping by . . .
